Jaakko Hallavo
Over the past few months, we have focused on technical improvements to support the future scalability of Agileday. Alongside these significant changes, we have also released valuable updates and enhancements aimed at elevating your experience and productivity on the platform. After months of meticulous work by our product team, we are thrilled to unveil the latest version. Let’s delve into what’s new in Agileday.

Performance Boost for Better User Experience

  • Faster Loading and Editing Times: Experience a snappier performance across the platform, particularly noticeable when opening and closing drawers.
  • Faster Allocation Data: Enjoy increased speed when managing hundreds or even thousands of profiles. No problem.

Updated Subcontractor Permissions

Subcontractors now possess updated permissions and more control, including:

  • Time Reporting: Subcontractors can now log hours exclusively for the projects they are contracted in.
  • Access to Project Listing and Openings: Subcontractors have access to view only their contracted projects and project openings marked as 'open to subcontractors'.
  • Allocations Management: Subcontractors can easily view and edit their project allocations, absences, and availabilities at a glance in the profile.
  • Access to People Listing: Subcontractors see only the people who are contracted to the same projects as they.

Create Team CVs for Opportunities

  • Team CVs: Team CV creation is now supported when working on opportunities, enabling the creation and export of a single CV file with all relevant candidate information.
  • Customized Templates and Landscape format: Tailor cover and end pages for your CV deck. Download horizontal CVs using the CV tabs in 'Opportunity.'

Management of Employee Absences

  • Absences as Projects: Absences are now treated as projects, allowing users to select the project type when creating projects: External (default), Internal, or Absence.
  • Project Lists: Project lists now include absences. Absences can be filtered with the preset 'All' or 'Project type.'

Manage Project Subtypes and Confidential Projects

  • Project Subtypes: Each project now has a subtype, determining its behavior, including whether hour reporting data is hidden from employees. Subtypes are managed in settings.
  • Project Restrictions: Projects can now be designated as 'restricted,' restricting editing and access rights to only admins, HR-admins, and project managers. This also limits access to projects time reporting data to the same roles.

New Brand and More Polished UI

  • New Brand: Ee have updated the Agileday brand. It's more bold, more beautiful and more us!
  • More Polished UI: Small improvements here and there, driving consistency and UX perfection. Everything just looks a bit better!

Technology & future

  • Simplified architecture: We have simplified our architecture under-the-hood. Now the data management layer is unified and service logic more simple resulting in faster feature development and improved scalability for the future.
  • Data API: We updated the schema for our GraphQL API. Also, new versioned REST API's will be available soon.

Other Improvements and fixes:

  • Text Search: Enhanced search capabilities now include customer names in addition to project and opportunity details.
  • Bug and UI Fixes: Numerous bug fixes and UI improvements to enhance the overall experience.

We're dedicated to providing you with an unparalleled user experience. These updates mark just the first steps toward delivering value even faster than before.
